Helen Flanagan has learned her lesson when it comes to her personal life.
The Coronation Street star, who plays temptress Rosie Webster, was burnt after she talked publicly about ex-boyfriend, builder Danny Scott, and now insists that she won't be dishing on her love life any more.
"Even if I did meet someone, I would keep it to myself now - I feel it was a bit of a mistake to talk about it last time," she told OK! magazine.
"You need to keep something back. I don't regret anything. We learn from our mistakes, so we need to make them," the 19-year-old added.
Helen admitted that her favourite memories were of last year's Christmas, when she was still with Danny.
"I was with my ex-boyfriend, but it was nice at the time because the relationship was going well and I spent the day with him - I'll always have those memories," she continued.
But she refused to let the heartbreak put a damper on this year.
"That was a different chapter of my life. I'm only young, so there are plenty more exciting chapters to come!" she said.
"I'm really happy, but maybe [I'd like to be] a bit more settled. Settling down with someone is lovely, so long as you keep your independence."
