Glynis Barber is the perfect addition to EastEnders, because she looks like she belongs in the Mitchells, says Rita Simons.
The 32-year-old - who plays feisty Roxy Mitchell in the BBC soap - has waved goodbye to her dad Archie (Larry Lamb) and Auntie Peg (Barbara Windsor), but will gain a mum in Glenda, portrayed by Glynis.
"Glenda's a typical Mitchell women - she's a fiery one, and very similar to Ronnie in personality as well as looks," she told Inside Soap.
"It's amazing how much Glynis looks like Sam (Danniella Westbrook). It's made me decide that I look like Larry! Ronnie got Glenda's genes and Roxy got Archie's."
The two are getting on like a house on fire.
"I'm getting on really well with Glynis," Rita added.
